Editorial Board’s proceedings focus on three degree choice and improving text. First decision, crucial to the Author is given within 3 weeks from submitting the text. It is a decision qualifying text to reviewing process or rejecting the text with regard to formal failure. On this stage we evaluate the conformity of the publication with periodical’s profile and technical standards.


Next, qualified text is sent to an independent reviewer. Within 3 months Author receives an answer concerning their article. Author also receives substantial analysis of his/ her work - it includes justification in case of rejecting the text by Editorial Board, in case of accepting the text - showing the strong points, suggestions for correcting. Secretary of Editorial Board mediates between passing the reviews. For any questions or doubts, please contact Secretary (joanna.piechowiak@kultura-i-edukacja.pl). After taking an attitude to reviewer’s remarks and after sending changed version of the text by the reviewer, the text goes to the third stage - it becomes a part of the whole issue proposed by the Editorial Board.


At the final stage of reviewing the content of next issues, an outside reviewer plays an important role. In this phase a strategy of evaluating not single works but the whole issue has been elaborated. It gives the possibility to full revision and understanding/finding/making out certain hidden presuppositions. The reviewer’s suggestions are given to all the writers of the next issue. They have to take an attitude towards those suggestions since it is the condition for the text being published. Multilevel system of reviewing serves creating the best, with regard to its factual and editorial content, version of each text and image of a specific issue as a whole.
