In the nearest "Culture and Education" numbers an extensive report from the XIV Polish Sociological Congress Krakow 9 - 11 September: What is going on with society? will be published in “special Announcements” section. According to earlier worked out standards about 5 or 6 texts will appear(idea of the convention, inaugural lecture, general report, reports from chosen teams).

ENGLISH VERSION

Once a year fifth issue of Culture and Education in English is published. So far it has been a choice of most representative, according to Editorial Board, articles published in polish issues. The aim of creating an English issue was to introduce it to foreign readers. Editorial Board came to the conclusion that providing English summary and key words after each article is not enough to be recognized among wider circle of readers. Currently we aim at creating unique periodical edited together with foreign academic centers that collaborate with us.

It is important since we want Culture and Education to enter the scientific periodicals list. It already is on European Reference Index for Humanities (ERIH). We also applied for ISI Master Journal List.
