On Difficulties of Early Foreign Language Teaching – Based on Observation of the Organization of Language Learning of Bedouin Children in Israel

Marta Kotarba-Kańczugowska

Abstrakt

Developing speaking skills plays an important role in foreign language learning. At the same time, it is a very complex objective, which is due to several factors: methodological, cultural, and psychological aspects. Recently, I have participated in a visit to the Kaye Academic College of Education, Beer-Sheva, in Israel, and I have had the opportunity to observe the organization of language education for Arab children in Israel. This experience has inspired me to reflect on difficulties connected with early language teaching, oft en accompanied by many concerns and misunderstandings. The results of these considerations are presented in the article.
